Day 2

So far so good, this is my second day...ha ha
Today was a pretty productive day after I slept in. I haven't been sleeping this whole week and it kinda put a damper on my nights. I'm not sure whats going on, but I'm glad my dad came by and the doorbell woke me up at 10!
After the wake up call. I worked on a few pictures, organized some paperwork, called a few clients, Lexi came over for a while and then I decided I should BAKE. I then got out all the stuff and made Halloween cookies!!! The grand thing is...they turned out good! After eating just one (and some dough) ha ha. I bagged them up for the nieces and the family for tomorrow.
While baking, I noticed how dusty the kitchen table was, so decided to dust it, then just did the whole house. When 5 came around, I had cleaned the whole house, got all the Halloween stuff halfway put away and all my fall decor out and was about beat. How does the day go by so fast?? Wish I had more hours in the day.
Cousin Cody came over as well and helped winterize the sprinklers with James. Its so nice to have family to help with that kind of stuff and he tells pretty great stories to..I haven't laughed that hard in a while! Thanks Cody and James.
Anyway not that impressive of a post, but it was my day! Excited for shopping tomorrow with mom! Hope everyone has a great weekend. Happy Halloween people!

Im back...

Finally blogging again! Its been a crazy few months since I deleted my last blog and so much has changed. I decided that through my website and my fb fanpage, I advertise AK Photo and Design enough and would like to just have a spot for my personal stuff and a journal of sort. HERE IT IS! Since my last blog was deleted, James and I have moved into our new house. Its been so fun. The new house smell and small new things never get old. The only hard part is..picking out things that we both like. I always wanted to move into a house and paint it all up, be creative and go nuts. Its been not that at ALL. James loves neutral colors and neutral colors only. I mean the guy has like 24 white shirts with small pinstripes of colors and that's it. He wants chicken a ricearoni, every night. Hes a simple guy and I'm more complex, so its been interesting. We did pick out curtains the other day and they are red/burgundy so there is hope for some color after all??? Cross your fingers people.
Dont get me wrong tho,  I HAVE SO MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR. James hasn't sat down since we moved in. Hes has already textured, painted, built a work bench for the garage, laid sod, moved the lawn, put sprinklers in, and still helps me cleanup dinner. He has been the most amazing man friend a girl could ask for.
On a lighter, less sappier note. ha ha. I have more.  I got a nanny job a few weeks ago and its been so fun. The little ones are 2 and 4 years old and cuties for sure. Its fun to get to know their cute little family and watch them.
Lets just say I have tons to do with all the photography jobs, the nanny position, keeping up with the chores at home, and being sane. I have no idea how my sister does with with kids and her going to school. Its seems like I barely have time for me. I guess that's another reason I started my blog back up. I really helps on those busy days to take a minute and think about all the good things in your life. Today I am thankful for everything I have. I have some great things going on, some great people in my life and I LOVE IT! Hope you guys stay tuned and help motivate me to keep posting!
