Once again it's been way to long! I finally got the blogger app, so this may help! Nothing is super new, trying to keep up with life, the daily grind. I've been super busy with photography lately and since I work from home, it never seems to stop! I can always be working on something and sometimes I feel like it's never ending. I'm wondering how so many working out of the home moms, with kids and all that jazz...do it. Life gets crazy! I love it though, I'm so thankful for all the support I've gotten with AK Photo and Design this year, it's been so rewarding and so much fun. I love meeting new people and working with my great clients. I'm super lucky that I get to love my job! (it's kinda my baby, if ya couldn't tell :) so here's what you've missed out on since my last post!
-We got couches finally
-Have a booth at the womens expo next month, super excited!
-Doing some design work on the side, and miss it so much.
-Reading lots
-Celebrating Grandma Rose and what a special lady she was was. Love and miss her sweet smile so much.
-Trying to eat better and cook more at home! Eating out is so much more fun tho.
-Finding and making over photo props!
-Having BBQs with James friends.
-Watching James Do the crazy cow ride at the Rodeo last week and spending time with friends at the fair!
-Berry picking on the westside and spending lots of hours with James family. So fun to catch up with them!
They're is just a few! It's beens such a fun summer, but can't wait til fall!! Mostly cause I miss my boots and scarves!! :)
Three things that made me super happy today...
1. Getting a nap in! (short, but so sweet)
2. Surprise date night! I love spending time with James, especially over salsa! :)
3. Getting a ton of things checked off the list!!

Winter Wonderland??
I have to be honest that I have got a lot done around the house this week as well, the snow really has been great in that way. It motivated you to do lots, when its to cold to go outside. I have lots to be thankful for this time of year when its freezing! Especially a loving driving sister and a lovely shoveling bf! Thanks guys for allowing me to use you at my scariest season of all! SNOW!!!
Good thing we are leaving for Vegas next Tuesday and guess what? They have NO snow, as of right now...Im excited!!

Our Nest...

Alrighty everyone, my New FaVORITE MagazinE EVeR...the Nest
Just wanted to let you know how great it is. It has great, fun gift ideas, budget advice, home decor ideas, DIY projects..its just grand! Snag one next time you see one.
Our nest has been a bit boring this time of year, not sure if its the weather or what...but I LOVE IT! I feel like I can totally play catch-up with everything ive put on the back burner. Photography is slow, because of the weather and thats really sad. I actually really miss being photography busy, its fun trying new stuff and meeting all new people. It has also been really great to work from home and actually use my degree..Imagine that ha? lol. Im so thankful for some loyal fans and community that keep me busy. Its been such a great year!
Thanksgiving was a highlight of this week. We got to have two of them!! Like we needed two? but both were great. We had lunch at my moms and it was great. Its always fun laughing and spending quality time with Lex and Quincys Family and of course Grandma Deb. After lunch #1 we went to Thanksgiving #2 and Kirk and Brendas. They always outdo themselves and go all out. I really love that they have sweet potatoes! YUMMO! Its always fun to have two families that are both great. Im pretty lucky! Pictures will be on FB sometime.
So now on to the recent news update. James took off the rest of the week after the Holiday. So we started yesterday with a movie marathon..DON'T JUDGE! All our chores are done! ha ha. WE have now watched 7 movies in the last 2 days! Its been fun to snuggle up under a blanket, drink hot cocoa, and just veg! I promise tomorrow I'm gonna do some mad work (my butts starting to hurt, that couch).
Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and are all staying warm this time of year! I'm very thankful for all of you and all my blessings. Have a great rest of the weekend.

Holy blogging!
I cant stop stalking blogs! Why is stalking them so much easier then writing them?? hmm. So since my last post, I got to go to the DJ Scrappin Retreat that my mom and her (everyones friend) Jane put on. Its a great crafty weekend where you can scrapbook, card make, sew, really just do any craft. Its an amazing time and every year I come home so motivated and excited to craft again! TONS of great ideas are shared as well! Its just really great, you all should come?
After coming home and putting my craft stuff away, I decided to reorganize my office again! Its crazy how just having a new layout of a space makes you want to be in it more. I think i was in there all day! It was great. Maybe tomorrow, Ill get some crafting done. I cant wait to get some Christmas crafts finished....ok started! haha. Here are a few things I stalked today. I LOVE BLOGGING IDEAS! Its grand! Hope you all are having a great week. Ill keep you posted on other great ideas i snag!

Day 2
So far so good, this is my second day...ha ha
Today was a pretty productive day after I slept in. I haven't been sleeping this whole week and it kinda put a damper on my nights. I'm not sure whats going on, but I'm glad my dad came by and the doorbell woke me up at 10!
After the wake up call. I worked on a few pictures, organized some paperwork, called a few clients, Lexi came over for a while and then I decided I should BAKE. I then got out all the stuff and made Halloween cookies!!! The grand thing is...they turned out good! After eating just one (and some dough) ha ha. I bagged them up for the nieces and the family for tomorrow.
While baking, I noticed how dusty the kitchen table was, so decided to dust it, then just did the whole house. When 5 came around, I had cleaned the whole house, got all the Halloween stuff halfway put away and all my fall decor out and was about beat. How does the day go by so fast?? Wish I had more hours in the day.

Cousin Cody came over as well and helped winterize the sprinklers with James. Its so nice to have family to help with that kind of stuff and he tells pretty great stories to..I haven't laughed that hard in a while! Thanks Cody and James.
Anyway not that impressive of a post, but it was my day! Excited for shopping tomorrow with mom! Hope everyone has a great weekend. Happy Halloween people!
